FAQ
You May Find Some Of Your Answers In Here
How do I RSVP to an event and hold my spot?
-
Please RSVP through the events page. A deposit will be required to hold your spot.
How soon do I need to RSVP?
-
Ideally you want to allow a minimum of 2 weeks to allow yourself the time and space to prepare mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally. This is particularly important for participants sitting for the first time. Longer preparation times are encouraged. Remember, the more intention and effort you put in, the more you will get out of it.
My plans changed and I can't sit at the session I RSVP for, what happens to my deposit?
-
Deposits are transferable but not refundable. We will hold your deposit for up to a year that can be used towards another ceremony. Cancellations are required 48 hours prior to the ceremony to be transferable.
How do I prepare for the ceremony?
-
Please visit the Ceremony Preparation Guidelines page for information on how to follow the dieta along with recommendations for herbs and meditations.
I want to invite a friend, how can I connect them with you?
-
Please share our website and have them signup. We will then contact them directly.
What should I bring to the ceremony?
-
It is highly recommended to dress in ceremonial whites, bring a meditation nest/sleeping pad (padding comfortable to lay on), backjack (floor chair), journal, water vessel, ear plugs and eye mask or something to use to cover your eyes during the ceremony and sleeping, as well as any other sacred items you would like to have during your journey. Be sure to bring a few changes of clothes throughout the weekend focusing on clothes that make you feel good and are super comfy. It will be helpful to have layers since the medicine can affect our temperature throughout the night.
-
Please note our ceremony on Sunday will take place throughout the day so that we can commune with nature and the elements. Be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, bug spray or any other items to be comfortable outside for a few hours.
-
If yoni steaming is included in the weekend please bring the following:
-
Long skirt, long dress, OR Sarong for Yoni Steaming
-
Large Pot for Yoni Steaming (Approx. 9 inches W x 6 inches deep) Seat cover will be provided. However, if you already have a yoni steam seat please bring with you.
What precautions do you take around COVID?
-
We ask that if you are experiencing any symptoms such as runny nose, cough, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, muscle aches, fatigue, headaches, sore throat, fever, loss of taste, smell, or appetite you refrain from coming. Let us know and we will accommodate you at a later ceremony.
-
Do your best to quarantine a minimum of 1 week prior to the ceremony (ideally 10 days). This also allows for quiet, intention setting and spaciousness before the weekend's journey.
-
Get tested for Covid-19 at a local testing center for free. Most test results are returned within 24-72 hours, please plan accordingly. Another option is to purchase a take home antigen test from your local pharmacy.
-
Please also consider who you will be in contact with after the ceremony.
-
Our ceremonies are small and intimate with a maximum of 12 participants which helps minimize risk. Throughout the weekend we will be in shared spaces so ultimately it is a personal choice that you must weigh for yourself. By following the above recommendations we can continue to hold space for this important healing work with minimal impact.
